Test & Measurement
The insertion loss and return loss qualify the optical connector in terms of performance. These parameters are determined, among other things, by the polishing geometry. This geometry is determined by an interferometer before the connectors are finally tested on an IL/RL measuring station. This high-end equipment is determined by the number of channels (SF or MPO) and the wavelengths to be tested. Our consulting will guide you to the right measurement instrument tailored to your needs.
Splicing
Splicing in the production area often addresses special fabrications beyond the splicing of standard multimode and singlemode fibers. Depending on the configuration, the splicing devices presented here are capable of splicing fibers with very large diameters and polarization-maintaining fibers (PM fiber). Likewise, splices of fiber with different diameters are possible.
